For really excellent quality prints up 16inx12in try this web site.http://www.sendphotos.co.uk
It is a one man operation, run by a bloke who really knows his stuff. His site only offers up to 7x5 but if you email him he will do his best to print to any size (16x12 max)
There is an instructions area when ordering pics so you can give precise requests, and he will tell you how much he will charge for prints larger than 7x5 on request. In case you are wondering, he is my cousin!
In all honesty I use him for prints larger than A4 and I give you my word, his quality and service is superb. - I sent him a cd (no bb) on a Tuesday and got the print Thurs AM (postage is free).

for prints I find www.pixaco.co.uk very reasonable. Will print most sizes at a decent price. Delivery in less than a week (ordered from them twice both 6x4 and A4 size).....

and yes, they did come top in a DCM review which was why I tried them - but they are good... only problem is 6x4 prints are really 5.5x4 which is a bit of a pain!

Not really relevant, but I feel many members may be interested in a low cost guide. Shell's Easy Bird Guide - photos of each species and also paintings to accompany with size guides covering a great many European species, RRP £12.99, The Works price £4.99
