We are all still about. The business of life has taken over at the moment but I must admit the camera has been picked back up this week and I've taken some decent shots. So who knows maybe a rekindling of sorts.

thanks for that John. I hope we dont lose touch. It is a shame but think everyone is just too busy these days and a lot dont have time for recreational photography anymore, I know I dont. I miss that more than anything as I feel turning professional spoiled my hobby but I'll get back to it one day.

There's been some amazing work on here in the past. Karen was to me a great help in just seeing her work with loads of suggestions from her for improvements. I hope it's not come to an end as we will all loose friends and contacts.

Not sure but I think when we voted top image helped to kept it alive. If you look back to that time we all learnt a lot from one another and in trying to improve ourselves we then talked to one another. I for one became better at photography in seeing others work and trying harder to get an image into top spot. Yes I succeeded and was made very happy in then knowing I was getting better at my hobby.

I fear its a gonner. Which is sad as it was a great place when i joined many moons ago. Probably the start of the digital revolution when we were all new to it and seeked advice from each other. I made some good friends here whom I'm still in contact with, even went for holidays with some of them. Miss the banter and the comeraderie it used to bring.
